New Delhi, January 16, 2026: Jamia Millia Islamia’s Games & Sports Department teamed up with Zurkhanesh Sports & Kushti Federation (India) to host the 5th World Cup Zurkhanesh Sports & Koshti Pahlavani Championship on December 23-24, 2025. Held at the iconic Nawab Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi Sports Complex, this blockbuster event saw 130 powerhouse athletes from 7 nations battle it out: Iran, Iraq, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Uganda, Tanzania, and India!
