Dubai declares a 9-day Eid Al Fitr holiday for the public sector in 2022.

On Monday, May 9th, regular working hours will resume.

Dubai: The Dubai Government Human Resources Department has approved Eid Al Fitr holidays for government employees for a period of nine days.

On Saturday, April 30th, the holidays will begin and end on Sunday, May 8th. On Monday, May 9, 2022, regular offic hours will resume.

The UAE Cabinet had already approved a week-long Eid Al Fitr break for all federal government institutions functioning across the country, beginning Saturday, April 30 and ending Friday, May 6, 2022, with federal personnel returning to work on Monday, May 9, 2022.

All private-sector workers will be paid an Eid break from the 29th Ramadan to the 3rd Shawwal 1443, according to the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation.
