New Delhi, September 25, 2025: Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) has launched an online facility for issuing Provisional Certificates to all pass-out students, covering regular, private, and distance mode courses. Starting September 25, 2025, students can obtain their certificates exclusively through the University’s Student Portal (https://jmicoe.in), without the need for physical visits or lengthy waits. The move aims to streamline administrative processes, save time, reduce paperwork, and offer a fully transparent, hassle-free process for graduates.
Key Features of the New Service
- Provisional Certificates will now be processed and issued solely via the JMI Student Portal.
- Students must submit their applications and pay the prescribed fee online, after which they can instantly download the certificate.
- The total application fee is ₹300 (₹50 for the certificate and ₹250 for automation charges).
- Certificates become immediately available for download upon successful payment.
- The portal service is active 24×7, ensuring students can access certificates any time from anywhere.

Prof. Pawan Kumar Sharma, Controller of Examinations at JMI, described the step as a significant stride towards digital transformation. He highlighted improved administrative efficiency and a student-friendly approach, enabling graduates to access their documents easily and securely worldwide.
