Srinagar, November 8: The Army on Saturday confirmed that two terrorists were killed during an anti-infiltration operation in the Keran sector of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district.
The Army’s Chinar Corps shared on platform X that the encounter took place as security forces foiled an infiltration attempt along the Line of Control (LoC). “Two terrorists have been neutralised in the ongoing operation. Search of the area is in progress,” the Army stated.
Earlier, officials said that troops had intercepted infiltrators attempting to cross from across the border and engaged them in a gunfight.
