SRINAGAR: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Saturday conducted a raid at a residential property in the Anantnag district of South Kashmir in connection with an ongoing terror case.
According to official sources, a team from the NIA’s Jammu unit searched the house of Suhail Gani Bhat, son of Abdul Gani Bhat, in the Kreeri Shahabad area of Doru.
The search was carried out under case FIR No. RC/2026/02, registered under Section 23 of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA), Sections 7/25 of the Arms Act, and Section 4 of the Explosives Act.
During the operation, investigative officers seized a mobile phone (Redmi 9A) from the location for further examination.
Officials stated that further investigation into the case is currently underway.
