New Delhi: On Sunday morning at 10:00 a.m., Saurabh Bharadwaj, President of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Delhi State, led a padyatra through Chirag Delhi village in the Greater Kailash constituency. The march was organized to confront the falsehoods that the BJP has been spreading for the past decade. During the padyatra, leaflets were distributed to inform residents about the truth, and hundreds of AAP supporters joined Bharadwaj in the procession.
While addressing the crowd, Bharadwaj detailed how the BJP had placed minor leaders in every neighborhood to propagate untrue allegations against him. These BJP figures claimed that Bharadwaj had engaged in corruption and constructed a bungalow with black glass in East of Kailash, as well as a farmhouse.
In an open challenge during the padyatra, Bharadwaj declared, “I challenge all BJP leaders, including Virendra Sachdeva, that if anyone can provide an address of a bungalow or farmhouse belonging to me to the Enforcement Directorate, I will reward them with ₹21 lakh. However, if no BJP leader can produce such evidence and they have been spreading these lies, the BJP should apologise to the people of this country for deceit.”
Bharadwaj exposed the long-standing smear campaign, emphasizing that for the last ten years, BJP leaders have been conspiring to falsely accuse him of corruption and property acquisition in Greater Kailash. He added that these baseless allegations had even prompted a recent 19-hour Enforcement Directorate raid at his residence, which yielded no evidence of wrongdoing.

He also highlighted a false media narrative claiming that the ED raided 12 of his locations, stating, “I ask the ED officers to share the addresses of these supposed 12 premises said to be raided. Those properties should be handed over to me.” Mocking the BJP’s claims, he remarked on the absurdity of the situation given that he himself is unaware of any such 12 properties.
Bharadwaj criticized the current government as dictatorial, accusing it of targeting dissenters by filing false cases, orchestrating raids by the ED and CBI, and fabricating charges to intimidate and silence them.
He concluded by announcing that the Aam Aadmi Party has launched this campaign to expose BJP’s lies and will continue going door to door to raise public awareness about these falsehoods.
