The Arrest of Hilal Ahmed Bhat

On Monday, February 9, the CIK Fugitive Tracking Team successfully apprehended Hilal Ahmed Bhat, son of Mohd Assad Ullah Bhat. Originally a resident of Poshpora, Kupwara, Bhat had been residing in the Raipur Domana area of Jammu to evade capture.

The arrest was made in execution of an absconder warrant (Section 512 CrPC) issued by the Court of Principal Session Judge, Jammu. The warrant also names his father, Mohd Assad Ullah Bhat, as a wanted individual in the same case.
