Imran Khan accuses the Biden administration of being involved in a “regime change scheme.”

Date:

Imran Khan, Pakistan’s deposed prime minister, brazenly accused the Biden administration of being involved in a “regime change conspiracy” in the country on Monday.

Ex-prime minister Imran Khan has repeatedly blamed the United States for supporting the no-confidence motion that led to his removal on April 10 and has refused to recognise the newly-elected prime minister, stating, “There can’t be any bigger disrespect to our country.” The administration of Joe Biden, on the other hand, denied any involvement in the process.

Khan challenged the Biden administration in a tweet whether its role in the “regime change conspiracy” had lowered or raised anti-American sentiment in Pakistan.

The existing government officials have frequently claimed that Khan is blaming America for his removal since he failed to perform during his reign, but the PTI chairman remains adamant that the US, along with the opposition at the time, was behind his removal.

In the last week of May, Imran Khan claimed, the PTI would begin an anti-government march towards Islamabad.

“We will be making this call to all Pakistanis, not only PTI supporters, because Pakistan has been insulted after a foreign power put the country’s most corrupt people on us,” Khan had stated.

Khan previously stated that he believes a sea of people will descend on Islamabad and send a clear message to the people: “No one from outside the country will be able to impose a corrupt administration on us in the future. Pakistan’s fate will be decided by Pakistanis.”
