New Delhi, September 24, 2025: Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) has partnered with Oracle Academy to offer faculty and students free access to advanced learning resources in Artificial Intelligence, Cloud Computing, and other emerging technologies. The initiative, driven by the University Placement Cell (UPC), is aimed at equipping students with the skills required to succeed in today’s rapidly evolving technology landscape.
As part of the launch, the UPC hosted a seminar by Mr. Habibur Rahman, Principal Member of Technical Staff at Oracle, who addressed over 130 students. Speaking on “Oracle 23ai Distributed Database for Resilient Never-Down Application and Walk Through AI/ML Trends”, Mr. Rahman highlighted new opportunities in AI and database technologies while guiding the audience on leveraging Oracle’s platforms for their academic projects.
Well-regarded for mentoring over 1,000 Oracle Engineering Systems professionals globally, Mr. Rahman also holds multiple certifications, including Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Architect Professional and Autonomous Database Specialist. During the session, he responded to student queries on IT industry trends, career opportunities, and interview readiness, offering practical insights for aspiring professionals.
The program was coordinated by the UPC team led by Prof. Rahela Farooqi, Prof. Rihan Khan Suri, and Prof. Saba Khan, in association with the Department of Computer Science, represented by Prof. Suraiya Jabin, Prof. Syed Zeeshan Hussain, and Dr. Ahmad Kamal.
Closing the event, Prof. Rahela Farooqi delivered a vote of thanks, acknowledging Oracle Academy’s support in enhancing research, teaching, and career preparedness at JMI.
