Delhi Police’s Kalindi Kunj station swiftly cracked a robbery case near Delhi-Mumbai Expressway, arresting three accused and recovering the stolen Samsung S24FE mobile phone within 18 hours. One suspect remains absconding as teams intensify the hunt.
Incident Details and FIR
On February 9, 2026, around 9:15 PM, a PCR call reported a robbery near Khadar Puliya Bus Stand on the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway. Officers rushed to the scene and met complainant Jagdish Singh (42, LIC employee, resident of H. No. 272, Chauhan Mohalla, Madanpur Khadar, Sarita Vihar).
Based on his statement, FIR No. 125/2026 was registered on February 10 under Section 309/3(5) BNS at PS Kalindi Kunj. Investigation began immediately.
Special Team and Breakthrough Operation
A dedicated team led by Insp. Jatan Singh (SHO, PS Kalindi Kunj)—including Insp. Surendra Singh (ATO), ASI Rakesh, HC Harish, HC Kulshresth, HC Bharat, and Ct. Abhay—analyzed over 50 CCTV footages from the crime scene and nearby routes.
Using local intelligence and technical surveillance, they identified four suspects. Three were arrested within 18 hours; the stolen Samsung S24FE mobile was recovered from them. The fourth accused is absconding.
Accused Confessions During Interrogation
The arrested trio confessed to scouting the isolated bus stand area for easy targets. They targeted Jagdish Singh when he was alone, snatched his phone, and hid it—leading to its recovery.
Further questioning aims to link them to other crimes and nab absconding Noor Navi.
