South Kashmir: Militants killed in brief gunfight in Bijbhera Anantnag: IGP Kashmir

Srinagar(GNS): Two unidentified terrorists were killed in a brief confrontation in Bijbhera’s Shattipora region in South Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Saturday

Inspector General of Police Vijay Kumar told GNS that two militants have been killed in a brief exchange of fire. However, the identities of the assassinated militants are still unknown.

According to earlier reports received by GNS, a joint police-army team conducted a cordon and search operation in Shattipora.

As the unified team of forces approached the suspected location, the concealed terrorists opened fire on them, sparking a battle.
