Srinagar, October 8: The State Investigation Agency (SIA) launched multiple raids on Wednesday morning across several districts of South and North Kashmir in connection with an ongoing case registered under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA).
Officials said that SIA teams, assisted by local police and CRPF personnel, carried out coordinated searches in Anantnag, Shopian, Kulgam, Sopore, and Bandipora districts. The operation is linked to an FIR numbered 01/2025, registered under UAPA provisions.
As of now, no arrests or recoveries have been reported, and the searches were still in progress when reports last came in.
