Kupwara, Nov 8 : At least five persons were injured, two of them critically, after two vehicles collided with each other along Kupwara-Srinagar Highway at Bramri Drugmulla area in this north-Kashmir district on Sunday evening.
Reports reaching GNS said that the two vehicles which included a โVernaโ with Registration number JK-01AB 4911 and an โi10โ with Registration number JK-05E 4274 collided near Bramri Drugmulla this evening resulting in injuries to at least five persons.

The injured persons have been identified as; Tabasum Muneer daughter of Muneer Ahmad Chopan, Amir Ahad Malik son of Abdul Ahad resident of Manzhar Haihama, Mohammad Iqbal Chopan son of Ghulam Hassan resident of Dooniwari Lolab, Adil Bashir Shah son of Bashir Ahmad resident of Sopore and Ghazala Farooq daughter of Haji Farooq Ahmad.
Among the injured persons two of them identified as Adil Bashir Shah and Ghazala Farooq have been referred to Bone and Joints Hospital Srinagar for advanced treatment while as three others with relatively minor injuries are undergoing treatment at Sub-district hospital Kupwara.
Meanwhile a police team has reached the spot to assess the situation, a police official said.
