Bandipora, June 22: A driver and conductor of a truck that was travelling from Srinagar to Bandipora on Wednesday in the village of Ajas in the Bandipora district of North Kashmir miraculously avoided injury.
According to reports that reached GNS, a truck carrying cement skidded off the diversion built on either side of the recently built Ajas bridge and plummeted into Baedkul Nallah when the driver lost control of the vehicle.
Locals who were nearby sprung into action right away to rescue the pair, who miraculously escaped without injury. The conductor and the driver are both secure.
According to a police officer, the accident has been reported and an inquiry into it has begun.
