New Delhi, September 8, 2025: The Centre for Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Sciences (CPRS) at Jamia Millia Islamia successfully conducted a Free Physiotherapy Camp on September 6, 2025, from 9 am to 4 pm at Hope Project Charitable Trust, Basti Hazrat Nizamuddin, New Delhi. This initiative was designed to bridge the healthcare gap by providing free professional physiotherapy consultations and treatments to underprivileged members of the community.
The event was supported by a dedicated team of faculty members, practicing physiotherapists, and final-year MPT and BPT students from CPRS who volunteered in various time slots throughout the day. Together, they offered a wide range of assessments and therapeutic interventions aimed at managing musculoskeletal and mobility disorders.
By focusing on the needs of the less fortunate, the camp not only delivered immediate healthcare relief but also raised awareness about the critical role of physiotherapy in promoting overall health and well-being. This outreach embodies CPRS’s ongoing commitment to community service and health equity.
In total, 138 patients availed themselves of the free services, underscoring the high demand for accessible physiotherapy care and the meaningful positive impact of such initiatives in the community.
