New Delhi: The National Council for the Promotion of Urdu Language (NCPUL) organized a program as part of the Vigilance Awareness Week, during which all council employees pledged to perform their duties with integrity. Director Dr. Shams Equbal highlighted, “The purpose of observing Vigilance Awareness Week is to raise awareness among all employees and workers about their duties, responsibilities, and rights, and to instill in them a spirit that empowers them to help eradicate corruption from society and bring transparency to the system.”
The chief guest, Mr. Ravindra Kumar (Retired Director, Government of India), delivered a detailed lecture on the topic, addressing all essential points. He remarked, “It is not only government employees but every individual who should strive to live an honest life and stay away from corruption, encouraging this mindset in those around them. Only then can we improve our system.”
He further emphasized that every government employee should familiarize themselves with the code of conduct and uphold it in their duties.
During the session, Mr. Ravindra Kumar also responded to questions with insightful answers. The Assistant Director (Administration) of NCPUL, Mohammad Ahmad, introduced the chief guest on this occasion.
