JMI Admission 2026–27: Prospectus Released; 30 New Courses & No Fee Hike

New Delhi | February 20, 2026: Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) has officially launched its prospectus for the Academic Session 2026–27. In a student-friendly move, the university announced the addition of 30 new programs and confirmed that there will be no fee hike for any courses this year.

Online applications are now open. Under the leadership of Vice Chancellor Prof. Mazhar Asif and Registrar Prof. Md. Mahtab Alam Rizvi, the university is also implementing the Multiple Entry Mode for Four-Year Undergraduate Programs (FYUP) in alignment with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.

Key Highlights of JMI Admissions 2026–27

  • 30 New Programs: Includes cutting-edge fields like B.Tech in Robotics & AI, Japanese Studies, and specialized LLM tracks.
  • Zero Fee Increase: Tuition fees remain unchanged for the upcoming session across all categories.
  • Expanded Test Centers: Three new centers added (Jaipur, Dehradun, and Kishanganj), bringing the total to 11 nationwide.
  • NEP 2020 Integration: Launch of FYUP with multiple entry/exit options.
  • Global Outreach: Significantly reduced fees for international students (SAARC, West Asia, Africa, and Latin America).
