Poonch, Aug 21(M S Nazki): Labourers on Monday found a rusted Ak-47 rifle while extracting sand from a river and handed over it to police in Surankote area in Poonch district.
Official sources told GNS that at 1830 hours, some labourers were extracting the sand from Surankote river near Dhundak bridge and all of sudden they found the old rusted AK- 47 .
Subsequently, they said, the labourers informed the police station Surankote and a police party alongwith Army reached on spot and took possession of the rifle.
