Compassion Day Special (12 Rabi ul Awwal)
The creator is enraged, seeing all these gloomy times,
Why the world is in ignorance when I already sent the signs?
Seeing Him in fury, the Messenger fell prostrated,
โGlory be to my Lord, Most High! I have done the job, why are you infuriated?โ
Oh, Allah be Witness! Oh, Allah be witness!
Oh, my Messenger, you said you commanded them to be upright,
Then why the people are suffering and why so much of plight?
The responsibility you gave, I had seriously undertaken
I have delivered your Deen that they had forsaken.
Oh, Allah be Witness! Oh, ALLAH be witness!
You told me you asked them to care for the orphan and weak,
Then why it is that, their condition is so bleak?
I told them all with all my might
But they left the rope they had to hold tight.
Oh, Allah be Witness! Oh, Allah be witness!
You said, they were told to be just and honest,
It is because it was my Sunnah that they have left
But they all seemed to be crooked and utterly dishonest.
They disfigured my Ummah and created the sects.
Oh, Allah be Witness! Oh, Allah be witness!
My slaves are supposed to be living with love and peace
But they are shedding blood and cutting each others in piece
I had asked them to keep amity and sweeten their tones,
I kept spreading the word even when hit with the stones
Oh, Allah be Witness! Oh, Allah be witness!
You were told to advise,concerning women to be kind.
But they all went astray and lost their mind.
I told them their wives fulfil half their Deen,
Jannah lies at your motherโs feet, so donโt be mean.
Oh, Allah be Witness! Oh, Allah be witness!
My mother whispered-Wake up my son, It is the time of Fajโr
Stand up for the prayer and donโt lose your Ajโr.
I realized I was dreaming and shivering like in cold
Indeed Prophet delivered the message which is not less than the Gold
Oh, Allah be Witness! Oh, Allah be witness!
The ummah seems to be surrounded with the clouds of doom,
Oh, Allah it is your anger we fear, please help us bloom!
We accept our shortcomings and ask forgiveness on behalf of the rest,
Keep us firm in your faith, we are trying our best
