Kashmir: 2 minor girls feared dead, boy rescued after trio drowned in Poonch

Poonch, July 9/M S Nazki: Two minor girls are feared to have died while a 9-year-old boy was rescued after the trio drowned while they were taking a bath in Mandheri river near Dhaki Bridge in Poonch distroct on Saturday.

According to official sources who spoke to GNS, Azhar, 9, was saved by the rescue crew but the other two kids drowned in the water body. However, two additional girls—Rafit Bi, the daughter of Sarfaraz, and Aliya Bi, the daughter of Liyaqat Khan—were still missing when this report was filed, despite the efforts of rescuers like the police, civilians, and army.
