Srinagar, Oct 24: A massive fire broke out late Saturday night at Mir Sales Corporation, a blanket dealership located opposite Medicare Hospital in the Karan Nagar area of Srinagar.
Upon receiving the alert, Fire and Emergency Services personnel rushed to the scene to extinguish the blaze.
Officials confirmed that multiple fire tenders are currently on the scene working to contain the flames. As a precautionary measure due to the close proximity of the blaze, patients at the neighboring Medicare Hospital were evacuated to safety.
The cause of the fire and the extent of the damage are yet to be ascertained.
