Army Porter Injured in Mankote Landmine Blast; Hospitalized

Poonch: An army porter sustained injuries on Saturday following a landmine explosion near the Line of Control in the Mankote sector of Poonch district.

Details of the Incident According to official reports, the blast occurred in the Nagi Tekri area while the porter was engaged in his duties. The victim has been identified as a resident of Slotri (Patiya) in Poonch.

Medical Update Immediately after the explosion, the injured porter was evacuated from the site by security forces. He has been admitted to the 425 Army Hospital for specialized medical care.

“His condition is currently being monitored by doctors,” officials stated. Further details regarding the circumstances of the blast are still awaited as the investigation continues.
