Iranian FM Amir Abdollahian wrote on X on Thursday, saying that the only positive thing Netanyahu accomplished was to further undermine the foundations of the “fake Israeli regime.”
Aamir Abdollahian has written a letter to Secretary-General,United Nation Mr. Antonio Guterresin which he has written about the genocide in Gaza by Israel. Globaltoday has a copy of the letter which is as follow:
“Excellency,”
“Pursuant to my letter dated 10 October 2023, I am writing once more to convey my grave”
frustration with the development in Gaza and other occupied Palestinian territories. The
atrocities committed by the occupying regime in the past three weeks reached a new level of barbarism and inflicted unbearable human sufferi ng on innocent civil ians.
Brutal indiscriminate attacks by the Zionist regime in Gaza have claimed more than I 0,000 lives and wounded over 25,000 people in the past four weeks. Sadly, over 40% of the casualties are innocent children. The officials of the regime have expressly declared that “”the emphasis is on damage and not on accuracy””. It ha been confirmed that even protected persons and facilities under international law i ncl uding hospital , ambulances, and humanitarian workers have been hockingly targeted. I n one ca e, the attack on Al-Ahli and Al- hifa hospitals a well as on the Jabalia refugee camp ki lled hundred and wounded many other . Furthermore, alongside the ongoing Israel i military aggression and acts of brutality again t the vulnerable population of Gaza, a nuclear threat ha emerged from the I sraeli regime, as confirmed by Israel’ Heritage Minister on ovember 5, 2023. These hei nous acts, i ncl udi ng the nuclear threat , must be unequivocally condemned as flagrant violations of i nternational law,”constituting war crimes, crimes against humanity , and genocide.”
The regime ha del iberately blocked the supply of water, electricity, fuel, and other vital”
“neces ities for the civi lian population, purposefully denying Gaza access to food and medicine . This deliberate deprivation poses a grave threat to the survival of the whole population. I n this regard, the Islamic Republic of Iran appreciates the efforts of Your Excellency and the United ations for delivering m uch-needed humanitarian supplies to Pale tinians. The international community must spare no effort to address the dire humanitarian situation in Gaza which is getting worse dai ly. Collective pressure must be exerted on the occupying regime to force it into abiding by the non115 and principles of international law and stopping the use of humanitarian goods as a weapon.
We fimly reject and condemn any attempts by the Israeli regime to force displacement of the
Palestinian civilian population in the Gaza Strip which constitutes a violation of international law. There are credible reports about the Zionist regime’s plan for a permanent relocation of the Palestinians and a forcible popula t ion transfer. These unfeasible order and despicable plans have not only endangered the lives of thou ands of civilians but also constitute violations of international humanitarian law and a stark instance of war crime.
MINISTRY OF FOREIGN A FFAIRS OF THE ISLAMIC REPUBLIC OF IRAN
Those and many other act of the regime con titute the most seriou crimes of concern to the
“international community which shou ld be properly investigated and prosecuted. The United Nations Secretary-General is expected to call on all Member States of the United Nations to refrain from providing any assistance to the aggressor regime, which would entail complicity and international responsibility.
“Excellency,”
The international comm unity’ respon e to the e outrageous crimes has so far been
“disappointing. The United Nations Security Council has not been able to discharge it responsi bi l ity for the maintenance of international peace and security and stop the mass slaughter, mainly due to the United States’ unconditional support for the Zionist regime. The United States, once again, used its Veto power i n the Security Council in favor of the occupying aggressor regime. In the meantime, the Genera l A embly adopted a resolution that called “”for an immediate, durable and sustained humanitarian truce leading to a cessation of hostil ities”” and demanded, ‘immediate, contin uous, sufficient and unhindered provision of essentia l goods and services to civil ians throughout the Gaza strip, including but not l im ited to water, food, medical supplies, fuel and electricity.”” The unlawful regime, emboldened by the unhi ndered support of the United State and some other Western States, immediately rejected the resolution and brazenly continued its atrocities in Gaza.
While the aggres or regime is im plementing and advancing its ground invasion plans, there are”
“real ri ks of preading violence and expanding the conflict throughout the region. The international comm unity mu t immediately intervene to stop this ruthless massacre of civi l ians includi ng women and children. Otherwise, the situation may soon become more compl icated.”
I appeal to Your Excellency to take every necessary measure to prevent further grave breaches
“of international law. This incl udes violations of international humanitarian law, international human rights law, and international criminal law. The l lam ic Republ ic of Iran stands ready to collaborate with your initiati ves in this matter.”
“Please accept, Excellency, the assurances of my highest consideration.
H.E. Mr. Antonio Guterres
Secretary-General
