Enhancing Confidentiality and Efficiency
The establishment of Jamia Press addresses a long-standing need for a secure, self-reliant printing system. By moving operations in-house, JMI eliminates dependence on external agencies, reducing logistical delays and enhancing the security of sensitive documents.

Key functions of the new facility include:
- Printing of confidential question papers and OMR sheets.
- Production of academic books, research journals, and reports.
- In-house printing of degrees, marksheets, and university prospectuses.
- Automation of admission and examination-related documentation.
A Vision for Academic Excellence
During the ceremony, Prof. Ahteshamul Haque highlighted the press as a cornerstone for academic innovation. He noted that the facility would allow JMI to maintain its track record of timely exam cycles and result declarations.
Registrar Prof. Md Mahtab Alam Rizvi added that the press, equipped with modern technology, positions JMI as a role model for other universities. “The Jamia Press will provide our research community with a reliable platform to showcase their contributions with significantly reduced turnaround times,” he stated.
Streamlining Student Services
Vice-Chancellor Prof. Mazhar Asif commended the Office of the CoE for resolving previous delays in issuing degrees and marksheets. He emphasized that the university has moved toward a more digital-friendly approach, allowing students to download essential documents online.
“Jamia Press is a testament to our commitment to operational integrity. We expect it to quickly become a reputed publisher, encouraging our faculty to publish their scholarly work directly through the university,” said Prof. Asif.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr. Amina Husain, CPIO-Exams, and was attended by various university deans, directors, and faculty members.
