Kulgam, 4 June: Tragedy struck in South Kashmir’s Kulgam district when a cloud burst hit the Damhaal Hanjipora area of south Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Thursday evening.
Reports reaching to GNS said that A women was killed after a cloud burst hit Damhaal Hanjipora Village claiming the life of a 28 year old nomadic woman. She was swept away by the flash floods in Nunkul DK Marg.
The deceased has been identified as Jameela Akther wife of Munawar Budhwa.
Meanwhile authorties launched a rescue operation and a team was deployed to assess the demage.
