New Delhi, December 16, 2025: Mukabir, a first-year B.A. (Hons.) History student at Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) and a university shooting player, delivered an outstanding performance at the 7th National Sikh Games 2025–2026 held at the Guns of Nations Shooting Sports Academy, Delhi, from December 4 to 7, 2025.
Competing in the Junior Category, Mukabir clinched a Silver Medal in the 10m Air Pistol (Individual Event) and a Bronze Medal in the 10m Air Pistol (Team Event), showcasing remarkable skill and precision.
Congratulating the young champion on his achievement, JMI Vice-Chancellor Prof. Mazhar Asif lauded Mukabir’s success and wished him continued excellence in future competitions, expressing hope that he will keep bringing glory to the university.
Prof. Md. Mahtab Alam Rizvi, Registrar, JMI, also praised Mukabir’s dedicated efforts and extended his best wishes for greater success in upcoming tournaments.
Commending his hard work, commitment, and passion for the sport, Prof. Nafis Ahmad, Honorary Director, Games & Sports, JMI, applauded Mukabir for bringing laurels to the university. He encouraged the young shooter to continue excelling in his sporting career and assured him of the university’s full support.
