Saudi Arabia issues health requirements for Hajj travelers.

RIYADH, June 2: In respect to health standards for Hajj pilgrims for the year 2022, the Saudi General Authority of Civil Aviation issued a statement to airlines working in the kingdom’s airports, including private planes.

According to a statement, all airlines transporting passengers to Saudi Arabia for Hajj must confirm to the regulations, which say that pilgrims must be no older than 65 years old and completely vaccinated with ministry of health-accredited immunizations.

A negative PCR test result conducted within 72 hours after travelling to Saudi Arabia is also required. Failure to comply with the requirements, according to the authority, will be met with the relevant sanctions.
