Srinagar, August 1(Waris Shah): Police on Friday arrested three suspects along with arms and ammunition in South Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Friday.
Officials told us that today a joint team of police, army’s 19RR and 96BN CRPF during routine checking at Naka of main Road Krad Uttersoo stopped a Alto car.
During searches three suspects were arrested after one pistol, grenade and 41 rounds of AK-47 were recovered from their possession.
The suspects have been identified as Ishfaq Ahmad Bhat son of Ghulam Ahmad resident of Koel Pulwama, Ishan Akram son of Mohd Akram resident of Medora Awantipora, and Waseem Rehman Sheikh son of Abdul Rehman Sheikh resident of Medora Awantipora.
Meanwhile, police have registered a case in this regard and investigation has been taken up.
