- An increased overall score of 25.9.
- Stronger research impact via higher citation rates.
- Growth in international student enrollment.

Leadership Reflections
“JMI’s standing among the world’s top institutions is a testament to our comprehensive excellence across the key indicators calibrated by the QS rankings,” said Vice Chancellor Prof. Mazhar Asif. “I extend my heartiest commendations to our faculty members, researchers, scientists, and students. Their high-quality, scholarly contributions have pushed JMI to its highest rank to date. We will continue to work harder to build on this momentum in the coming years.”
Registrar Prof. Md. Mahtab Alam Rizvi attributed the achievement to the collective dedication of both teaching and non-teaching staff.
“Our rise to the 686th spot globally demonstrates JMI’s increasingly cutting-edge research, high academic standing, and growing global influence,” Prof. Rizvi noted. “It is a matter of tremendous satisfaction to be ranked 20th nationally. I also take this opportunity to convey our deep gratitude to the Government of India, especially the Ministry of Education, for their unwavering support.”
Driving Quality Assurance
University leadership also highly commended the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), led by Director Prof. Rafat Parveen, and her team for their year-round efforts in maintaining JMI’s competitive edge across major national and international rankings.
