New Delhi, December 18, 2025: The Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (CIE) at Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) has announced that registrations are now open for a new batch of short-term, skill-based courses on Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Cyber Security. The offline courses aim to equip students, job seekers, and aspiring entrepreneurs with hands-on digital skills essential for today’s fast-changing job market.
The initiative is being offered under the Smart Academy for Digital Technologies and Entrepreneurship, established by JMI in collaboration with the Tech Mahindra Foundation. The academy focuses on providing industry-relevant, certificate-level training to help learners develop practical, future-ready digital and entrepreneurial skills.

These courses are designed to blend theoretical learning with real-world applications, enabling participants to secure employment in high-demand fields such as digital media, cloud services, data analytics, and design. The Smart Academy also encourages participants to build and manage their own startups, promoting a culture of innovation and self-reliance among India’s youth.
The program is being conducted in offline mode, ensuring practical exposure, expert mentorship, and access to professional training infrastructure.
Highlighting the university’s commitment, JMI stated that this initiative — launched in collaboration with Tech Mahindra Foundation and the Livelihood Business Incubator — reinforces its vision of creating a digitally skilled and entrepreneurially driven workforce that can contribute to India’s growing knowledge economy.
