Srinagar, September 11: A man was injured in a bear attack at LalMandi, one of the densely populated area of Srinagar, on Sunday.
According to a senior police officer, the bear attacked Fayaz Ahmad Bhat (40), a resident of Habba Kadal and a chokidar at a private school. He was the son of the late Mohd Shafi Bhat.
The injured person, who suffered injuries to the right side of his face and both arms, was taken to SMHS, where the officer said his status was stable.
It’s important to note that the police have previously warned residents of Rajbagh not to leave their houses until the bear and cub have been captured.
