Kupwara, Nov 19: Additional Director General of Police (Armed) Anand Jain, accompanied by senior officers, visited the residence of martyr Inspector Asrar Ul Haq at Muqam Shahwali, Kupwara, to offer condolences and express solidarity with the bereaved family.
ADGP Jain was joined by DIG IRP Junaid Mehmood, Commandant Border Battalion Kupwara/IRP 4th Battalion Arif Amin Shah, SSP Kupwara Al Tahir Geelani, Dy Commandants IRP 4th Battalion Peerzada Aijaz and Abid Rashid Mir, and DySP IRP 4th Battalion Nasir Ahmad Bhat.
Inspector Asrar Ul Haq, remembered for his dedication and honesty, lost his life along with eight other personnel in a recent accidental blast at Police Station Nowgam.
During the condolence visit, the officers reiterated the Jammu and Kashmir Police’s unwavering commitment to support the families of martyrs. Interacting with the family members, ADGP Anand Jain paid rich tributes to Inspector Haq, describing him as a courageous and sincere officer whose devotion to duty will be cherished forever.
