Srinagar, December 1: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has intensified its probe into the recent Delhi car bomb blast, conducting major raids across Jammu & Kashmir and Uttar Pradesh. In coordinated operations, NIA teams searched multiple locations and seized digital devices and other incriminating materials from suspects in both states.
Multiple Sites Searched for Evidence
Officials reported that eight locations were raided in Shopian, Kulgam, Pulwama, and Awantipora districts of Jammu & Kashmir, along with one location in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. The agency’s efforts focused on gathering evidence crucial to the ongoing investigation into the November 10 blast near the Red Fort, which killed eleven people and injured several others.
Recent Raids on Key Accused
Last week, significant searches were conducted at the premises of Dr. Muzammil Shakeel Ganie and Dr. Shaheen Saeed in the Al Falah University complex and other sites in Faridabad, Haryana. NIA officials recovered large amounts of cash, foreign currency, gold, and additional items believed to be linked to the conspiracy. These materials are currently being examined for further leads.
Seven Accused Arrested So Far
The NIA confirmed the arrest of seven key accused in its case (RC-21/2025/NIA/DLI). Investigators are actively interrogating the suspects while following up on new information to identify the full network involved in the terror attack.
Ongoing Collaboration Across States
Authorities said NIA continues to work closely with various state police forces, aiming to apprehend every member of the terrorist module responsible for the deadly bombing. The agency remains committed to ensuring justice and enhancing security measures nationwide.
